We asked White Violet about their role in setting the stage for a wonderful wedding:

As a venue stylist I will meet with my couples to discuss their wedding vision. I will help them with colours, fabrics, props, signage, florals and decor to create a beautiful cohesive scheme. I will style and set up on the day and collect all the hired items the day after the wedding,

Once the couple are happy with the styling proposal, I will manage all the details of styling the venue, so that they can focus on other aspects of their wedding planning. They can totally enjoy the wedding day itself without the stress of styling the venue and won’t have the worry of collecting, packing away and cleaning all the props the following day as that service is all included.

There are so many wonderful options with regards to styling a woodland wedding. For a couple who love festivals, it is great to incorporate elements that recreate the atmosphere and culture of a music festival. Think simple rustic decor with bright coloured flowers, bunting, signage and twinkly lights. A boho wedding theme also works beautifully, with eclectic and simple decor, natural elements including dried florals, wood, macrame and wicker.

The woodlands offer such a naturally beautiful backdrop to your day with a sense of privacy and intimacy that is so very different from a traditional venue. For a couple who love the outdoors this is the perfect choice.

The first wedding I styled was for my son and daughter in law in 2018. I created lots of bunting, table decor and personalised crafted elements. Following their wedding they began getting lots of requests for the supplier, and it just snowballed from there.

My biggest tip to couples is it’s your day so do it your way. You don’t have to stick to traditions so if there is something you would rather not do or have then don’t. Create a day that reflects the two of you, after all your wedding day is to celebrate exactly that.
